What is user policy?

Rating:

User policy is a level of .NET Framework security, which is applicable only to the current logged-on user. Administrators and users can administer the user policy. User policy is at the third level, below the enterprise policy and machine policy levels, of the security policy hierarchy. It is restricted in what it can specify. User policy cannot grant more permissions to an assembly than are specified by the higher policy levels. However, it can be used to decrease permissions.
