Rating:

The IClassFactory interface deals with two issues: locality and language independence. It provides a language-neutral way to create a COM object by a client. Following are the three important methods of the IClassFactory interface to deal with the COM objects:

  • CoCreateInstance(): It is used to create a single object on the local system.
  • CoCreateInstanceEx(): It is used to create a single object on the remote system.
  • CoGetClassObject(): It is used to create multiple objects through a class object.
