What is an asymmetrical balance visual design?

Rating:

An asymmetrical balance visual design is also called an informal balance visual design. It is a little more abstract than a symmetrical balance visual design. This type of visual design does not place mirror images on a layout. Rather, asymmetrical balance involves objects that differ in size, shape, tone, or placement. These objects are arranged so that, despite their differences, they equalize the weight of the page. If a large object is placed on one side of a page, several smaller objects are placed on the other side so that the composition can still look balanced.
