What is a solicited remote assistance?

A solicited remote assistance is that in which a user initiates a remote assistance session with a helper. A user can initiate this session in one of the following ways:

  • An e-mail : A user can send an e-mail invitation using the Windows mail service to the helper.
  • Invitation as a file: A user can save the remote assistance invitation file in the file system so that a helper can access it using network share.
Note: The invitation file must be password protected.
