What is a smart card interface?

Rating:

A smart card Interface is a set of predefined services and each smart card interface is identified by a globally unique identifier (GUID). Interface GUIDs help to locate any card from a particular set of interfaces. Smart cards communicate with a smart card interface device via a single and serial channel. The communication channel enables either party to transmit or receive data.
