A Subscriber is a database server that receives published data from one or more Publishers. The Subscriber can also pass data changes back to the Publisher or republish the data to other Subscribers. This depends on the type of replication chosen by an administrator. A Subscriber can pull published data from a Publisher at regular intervals.
