What is a SecureNAT client?

Rating:

A Secure network address translation (SecureNAT) client is a client computer on which the Firewall Client software is not installed. A client computer can be configured as a SecureNAT client by configuring its default gateway with the internal IP address of an Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) server. This can be configured either manually or by using the DHCP service. No special application is required to be installed on a computer to configure it as a SecureNAT client. A SecureNAT client does not support user-level authentication.
