What is a Publisher?
Rating:
Publisher is a database server that makes data available to other servers through replication. A Publisher can have one or more publications. Each publication defines a logically related set of objects and data to replicate. A Publisher detects changes made to data, maintains information about all the publications, and pushes the changes towards the Subscribers or invites them to pull the changes at regular intervals.
