It also provides automated optimization features that helps computer to run at its optimum capacity. It regularly defragments a computer's hard disk and removes unwanted and unnecessary files. It also ensures that security updates from Microsoft are installed on time. Microsoft Live OneCare takes regular backups of files and settings to CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, or external hard disk.
