TIPEM stands for Toolkit for Interoperable Privacy-Enhanced Messaging. It is a library that provides tools for developing secure messaging applications. It can be used for electronic mail and other secure messaging-based applications. TIPEM supports X.509 and secure messaging standards such as X.400, PEM, and S/MIME. It also provides the following algorithms:
- MD2 Hash Algorithm
- RSA Algorithm
- MD5 Hash Algorithm
- Data Encryption Algorithm
