What is LARGE_POOL_SIZE?

LARGE_POOL_SIZE is an ASM initialization parameter that specifies the size of the large pool allocation heap in bytes.

Note: Some properties of the LARGE_POOL_SIZE parameter are given below:

  • Parameter type: Big Integer
  • Syntax: LARGE_POOL_SIZE = integer [K| G| M]
  • Modifiable: ALTER SYSTEM
  • Range of values: From 300KB to 2GB (the maximum value is operating system dependent.)
