What is AutoText?
Rating:
AutoText is one of the proofing tools found in the Tools menu of Microsoft Word. It is used to automatically complete a common word or entry when a user types only the first few letters of that word. It proves to be a very useful tool when a user needs to type long words, phrases, or titles repeatedly in a document. In order for AutoText to complete words automatically, one needs to add the words to the AutoText database.
