What are multiple boot computers?
Rating:
Multiple boot computers can be booted with two or more operating systems that are installed by partitioning the disk volume. If a user wants to install Windows 98 and Windows XP on separate partitions, then he should not install Windows XP with the NTFS file system because Windows 98 does not recognize the NTFS file system. Any program installed under Windows XP cannot be accessed and run under Windows 98 if a user installs Windows XP with the NTFS file system. The file systems for both partitions must be configured as a FAT file system if a user needs to dual boot between Windows 98 and Windows XP and wants to access all the files regardless of which operating system he has booted with.
