Take the following steps to create a subnet:

  1. Run Active Directory Sites and Services from Start Menu > Programs > Administrative Tools > Active Directory Sites and Services.



  2. In the Active Directory Sites and Services console tree, click Sites to expand the tree, right-click Subnets, and click New Subnet.



  3. In the New Object - Subnet dialog box, specify the subnet address and mask, and select a site object for the subnet. Click the OK button.



  4. Close the Active Directory Sites and Services console.
