Take the following steps to create a protocol definition:
- Run ISA Management from Start Menu > Programs > Microsoft ISA Server > ISA Management.

- In the ISA Management console tree, click the server on which a protocol definition is to be created, to expand the tree. Expand Policy Elements, right-click Protocol Definitions, and click New > Definition.

- In the welcome screen of the New Protocol Definition Wizard, type a name for the protocol definition, and click the Next button.

- On the Primary Connection Information page, specify Port number, Protocol type, Direction, and click the Next button.

- On the Secondary Connections page, specify the settings for secondary connections, and click the Next button.

- Click the Finish button.
