Take the following steps to create a domain user account:

  1. Run Active Directory Users and Computers from Start Menu > Programs > Administrative Tools > Active Directory Users and Computers.

  2. In the Active Directory Users and Computers console, click the Action > New > User menu.

  3. In the New Object - User dialog box, specify First name, Last name, Initials, and User logon name, and click the Next button. There is no need to specify Full name, as the Full Name field is automatically filled on the basis of the first name, last name, and initials that are provided by the user.

  4. In the next dialog box, specify a password in the Password and Confirm password fields. Specify other settings by selecting the appropriate check boxes, and click the Next button.

  5. Click the Finish button.
