Take the following steps to change the drive letter for a volume:
- From the Start menu, right-click My Computer and select Manage.
- In the Computer Management window, select Disk Management.
- Right-click a volume in the Disk Management display and select the Change Drive Letter and Paths option.
- In the Change Drive Letter and Paths for the drive dialog box, click the Change button.
- In the Change Drive Letter or Path dialog box, select the Assign the following drive letter radio button, select a new drive letter from the drop-down list, and click the OK button.
