Take the following steps to add a shape to a SmartArt Graphic :
- Select a SmartArt Graphic.
- Under the SmartArt Tools, click on the Design tab. Select the Add Shape option.
- Click the drop-down list and select an option from it.
- The selected option will be applied on the SmartArt Graphic.
