Take the following steps to add error bars to a chart:
- Select a chart.
- Under Chart Tools, click on the Layout tab. Click the Error Bars option.
- Select a type of error bars.
- Select an error bar from the chart. Click the Format Selection button under the Current Selection group.
- Format Error Bars dialog box appears. Specify the format for the error bars. Click the Close button.
